A Plugin-Hybrid Display

CANTOP is an open source project aimed at creating a powerful graphical interface for CANBUS enabled vehicles. It will be designed specifically for persons looking to do Plugin-Hybrid (PHEV) conversions. QT will be used for the initial interface.

CANTOP is designed to be an easy to use and customize graphical display for CAN-related data gathered from a CANBUS enabled vehicle. It further aims to provide a free and open source alternative to the expensive and closed source commercial products available.

CorsairHMI

The people at CorsairHMI have developed a driver for their operator interface software that uses the CANdaptor. This software has been used as a Driver Information System for solar race cars. It can serve real-time data over the Internet while running on both Windows and the Raspberry PI. It is free to college teams.
